Ominka is a sculptural artwork created by Slovak contemporary artist Viktor Frešo. The piece is a 3D-printed signature sculpture, designed as a tribute to his grandmother’s golden brooch, a cherished childhood keepsake.

The artwork’s name, Ominka, comes from the affectionate nickname Frešo used for his grandmother. Through this piece, he transforms a personal memory into a tangible, minimalist form — blending emotion, technology, and identity.

Ominka is part of the exhibition Family Vintage, in which the artist reflects on the intimate stories and everyday objects belonging to his close relatives. Each piece in the series carries a sense of nostalgia, connection, and personal history, reimagined through contemporary artistic expression.
